Hi everyone! Today I´m so happy to talk about Alex de la Iglesia, who is, in my personal opinion, the best current cinema director in Spanish language.
In 2009 he was the president of "Academic of art and cinema of Spain", he won a Goya in 1995, prize to the best director with " The day of the beast " and he has been a candidate in many other movies.

I consider it an expert of the cinema because he knows how to make very diferent films and still have success.
The first movie of this director that I watched was "The last circus" (2010). I remember that this movie opened my conception of making cinema. He broke so many stereotypes achieving triumph.
Thought his films are very diferent, each of them have a subsubject of interest: to portray or make visible people socially invisible.

Once, for a book, he said that he always was a freak and that he only was finding courage through drawing visual tales. When he grew up, found the courage for making films.
His films are characterized for being atractive, dinamics, with a complicated narrative, unrreal and perfect.
I love Alex's films! they are amazingly dark and funny the worst of the human behaviour reflected on funny and horrible situations!
